Interplay and Bethesda are still fighting it out in court, with the former countersuing the latter over the Fallout MMO. While all this legal wrangling may take a while to sort out, Interplay has released a few pieces of concept art from the MMO project (codenamed "Project V13") to bolster its claim that work was indeed proceeding.

Canadian PS3 owners are reporting problems with the PS3 version of Fallout 3's Game of the Year edition. Apparently, there's a bug keeping the GotY edition from recognizing their original Fallout 3 save files.

Thanks to tipster Calvarez44, we received word that the much-awaited Broken Steel DLC for the PS3 version of Bethesda's Fallout 3 is now up and about on the PSN. Have you checked in lately?

Since it first wowed the world at E3 back in June, Project Natal became commonplace when talks came to motion control. Nearly four months later at TGS 09, it seems that the elite publishers of the industry have seriously considered those talks - Microsoft has announced that the crème de la crème of the gaming industry is going to support Project Natal.

The tentative release date of Fallout 3's Game of the Year edition has just been solidified thanks to an announcement from Bethesda confirming the October 13 release date. The price points mentioned last month have also been confirmed. That's US$ 59.99 for PS3 and Xbox 360 versions and US$ 49.99 for the PC version. Of special interest to PS3 gamers are the announced release dates for the Fallout 3 DLC. Details after the jump.

Bethesda and Microsoft are giving out a new premium theme for Fallout 3 to XBL subscribers starting next month. And it's for free, as long as you have purchased all Fallout 3 Game Add-ons as of September 22. More details and image of the theme after the jump.

It just might be possible that Bethesda will release Fallout 3's PS3 DLC sooner than "the end of September." Operative words: just might. A couple of Kotaku tipsters caught and compared trophies screen pics, apparently showing trophies pegged to the expansions.

With summer about to end, it's nice to know that we're getting more company for the Fall as big game titles start to emerge. Topping the list this week are two big titles, each for consoles and for the PSP handheld. Batman: Arkham Asylum is set to grace North American PS3s and Xbox 360s, while Dissidia: Final Fantasy is weaving its magic on the PSP -- both on the same day, Tuesday. Microsoft was certainly pushed up the wall this past week as Sony took over the spotlight at GamesCom in Cologne. We gotta give props where credit is rightfully due, and that props I personally have to give to Sony. Microsoft's presscon just wasn't as "oomph"-ish as it should have been. Their "biggest" announcement: Fable III; their biggest newsmaker: the 54% failure rate. All in all, it wasn't a very good strategy/ PR week for Microsoft.

At the QuakeCon 2009, Bethesda's Todd Howard gave a surprising (?) announcement that there is no Elder Scrolls V in development. "Currently," at least.
