In fact, it's exactly what its title says -- a game that's all about the explosions and parts mangling that happens when armadas of heavily-armed battlecruisers and capital ships collide. It's like a 4X game where all the Xs mean "Exterminate." Renowned iPhone developer BigBoss is back on the scene to release BossPaper, an alternative wallpaper application for iPhone similar to Winterboard but uses less memory and processor power. Currently the app is in Beta. There are still some features that are planned to be implemented that are not in this version.

We may not have seen it at E3, but it looks like David Perry is finally ready to show off his game streaming service, Gaikai, to the public. In a new video posted on his own website, Perry demonstrates how GaiKai handles, running games like Spore, World of Warcraft, and an emulated Mario Kart 64 on a standard computer with a home cable connection. Good news for all the iPhone devs out there. Apple has finally released the second beta version of the iPhone 3.0 software. This beta release reportedly runs faster and is more stable than the previous beta.

More news about PlayStation Home that doesn't say the beta is open now! Sony has sent out word on the PlayStation forums that version 1.0 will hit the closed beta soon (but not that soon), and will be inviting a large number of extra testers once it happens.
