Street Fighter has long been a favorite in the arcades, with the best players in the world performing their best with the arcade stick over the console controller. Even with console versions of past iterations, many would still opt to buy joysticks to play in consoles. Unfortunately, it looks like people will be stuck with doing that in Super Street Fighter IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions since it has been confirmed: there won't be an arcade version. |

It's been a busy - and good - week for Microsoft. Not only did they
successfully implement the price drops, they've also successfully
reaped in the benefits. Too early to say, yes, I know, but with a
strong number of 43% up in sales (even if it's just for the Xbox 360
Elite), it's no wonder there's more bounce in their steps as of late.
After all, they're not at the bottom of the pile when it comes to
hardware sales, if you catch my drift. But hardware is not the only thing that went on this week, especially not when another gaming event is going on. So jump right in! |

True enough, Microsoft did announce the Xbox 360 price cuts for Japan,
starting off with the Xbox 360 Elite. Starting on September 10, Japan
will be selling the Elite model from ¥ 39,800 (US$ 431.42) to ¥ 29,800
(US$ 323.02). Again, this will not be carrying the HDMI cable any
longer. More details in the full article. |

When you're racing at top speed with dirt kicking up all over, chances
are, you'll ram or get rammed by someone straight out of the course. If
you're lucky, you're just gonna get so much dirt up your windshield
that you won't see where you're going, then subsequently wind up
outside the course anyway. DiRT 2
let's you see better into that scenario, although in this case, it's
gonna be more likely that you'll be the one feeding the others with
dust than you eating it. |

Apart from the reported partnership with Taiwan-based MMO studio
Yeck Entertainment, SCE Asia is apparently looking to beefing up their
stronghold in the region by striking more deals with a variety of Asian
game developers. This appears to be part of the corporation's direct
response to their almost-US$ 6,000 million losses last year. |
