Remember JellyCar? The highly addictive squishy driving game that was originally made for PC, Xbox 360, iPhone and then eventually ported to PSP. Well, now the original game developer Walaber has officially released JellyCar 2 for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

This week's iPhone Weekend Warrior is all about the numbers: 100,000 App Store apps, N64 games in the iPhone, RC3 for blackra1n, and two first person shooters that you don't want to miss - all written in five articles. It's a short list, but heavy on the good stuff, so be sure to matter-load right here.

Apple has formally announced that the App Store has now amassed an archive of over 100,000 applications from first and third-party developers, marking yet another milestone for the largest online app storefront in the world, give or take a few thousand iFodder. No, I'm totally kidding.

The new iPhone FPS that ngmoco was teasing about last month, Eliminate, is finally in the App Store. What makes this game cool is that apart from looking pretty good for an iPhone game, it's free to play.

Our friends at Xevicom have tipped us off about their much-delayed cult graphic novel, Xevicom Forever. While a PC version is already available at Xevicom.com, the graphic novel will be getting the PSP and App Store treatment, so you can just enjoy the action wherever you go.

id Software has released a major update to their remake of the ever-popular FPS game Wolfenstein 3D Classic for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The update contains tons of new features and additional contents.

Fishlabs had high hopes for the App Store release of Rally Master Pro. It was awarded Best Mobile Game of 2008 by Pocket Gamer, and has since been the subject of talk as far as iPhone racers were concerned. The good news: a lot of people are playing it. The bad news: 95% of those people are playing pirated copies.

After the whole Napster debacle Metallica is now quite gung ho about using newfangled technology to get their music out to the public. They partnered up with Activision for Guitar Hero: Metallica earlier this year, and now they're teaming up with Tapulous for a stab at the iPhone gaming market.
