What do you get when you cross Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney and mix it in with good old fashioned American cartoon humor? Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law that's what. Inspired by Capcom's original judicial sim game, Harvey Birdman stars in his own game slated to come out for the PS2, PSP and the Nintendo Wii. It has been confirmed so far that the PS2 and the PSP versions will be carbon copies of each other and will have no differences asides from the obvious visual display variations between the two platforms. As for it's debut on the Wii, the biggest difference it will have will be the retail price when the game finally comes out (US$ 30 for the PS2 and PSP version vs. US$ 40 for the Wii). While an additional ten bucks may seem outrageous just to add motion control for the game, it has been speculated that royalties for Nintendo are higher compared to other companies. Either way, the game is sure to be something that people who enjoy their jury cases crossed with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim brand of humor will definitely enjoy. Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law will be hatching this November 13, so make no objections about it when it finally hits the shelves. |

A couple of days ago we saw the announcement of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law for the Nintendo Wii home video game console. While this was good news for fans of the winged lawyer, it seems that chances of the game being released in Europe are slim.Eurogamer recently spoke to a Capcom Europe representative about a possible European release of the game. The representative said that it's "very unlikely", owing to the fact that the AdultSwim cartoon the game is based on is not as well-known in Europe as it is in North America. The import option is always there, though, especially for the PlayStation Portable version. All platform versions of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law (PS2, PSP, Wii)are currently slated for a simultaneous November 13 release in North America. |

If there won't be a Phoenix Wright title for the Wii, then at least Capcom is compensating with something else. Previously reported to be released on the PSP and PS2, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is now announced to be making its way to the Nintendo Wii as well. How soon? Well, as soon as November 13, actually. And that's simultaneously released with the PSP and PS2 versions too. Not much details have been revealed if there will be anything exclusive for the Wii version. The press release was pretty mum on some specific Wiimote functions too. But for those who aren't familiar with the Birdman, you better start watching AdultSwim more often. Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law will have you assuming the role of Harvey Birdman himself as you guide him through certain odd-ball cases. If you've seen a couple of episodes from AdultSwim, you might even recognize some the the settings. The game promises to have outrageous antics and comical scenes to do the TV show, well, justice. You'll be going around to investigate the scene of the crime, talk to other cartoon characters, and drink with the prosecutors (all is fair in love and war, anyways). |

To those who have been wanting to know the latest aboutHarvey Birdman: Attorney At Law, you're in luck because Capcom just released a handful of assets as well as new information just in time for the on-going E3 event. Harvey Birdman is quite similar to DS' Phoenix Wright, albeit with more attitude and hilarious antics.
Speaking of which, the cases involved in the title must be solved by Harvey Birdman through investigating the scene of the crime, gathering evidence, talking with other cartoon characters, and even having occasional drinks with the opposing council. We listed below some other features of Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law:

A couple of days ago, we all heard about upcoming video game title Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law. It is actually based on the Adult Swim TV series and will feature the character of Birdman and his relationships with other known Hanna Barbera characters. The title will feature the character's life as a lawyer, complete with his ups and downs.Despite the Harvey Birdman background, one can't help but think of DS' Phoenix Wright the moment this game was announced. Well, there's no offense there given Phoenix Wright's success and Capcom's latest description about this title. According to the publisher, it is going to be an "interactive story that the player participates in." Capcom added that Harvey Birdman will consist of several cases with each of them featuring their own characters and settings. Players will try to save the accused by looking through the crime scenes and examining the testimonies for the prosecution, all the while looking for inconsistencies. But more importantly, Capcom added that it has employed the same writers of the TV show itself to be able to mimic the program's brand of humor and plot devices. |

Bleach is all set to wipe out those lazy weekends of yours once Sega releases it in Japan on December 14th. But in the meantime, while it's still way beyond your reach, you can still check out the action via these new screenshots. Now, it that ain't enough to fulfill your cravings for this game, then you would definitely want to catch its TV series on Cartoon Network, as it is currently airing over at Adult Swim. Now, as the name connotes, it easily ain't for kids. Duh, it's for adults! But hey, if you could just hang in there for a little bit more, maybe you won't even need to play hooky staying up way past your bedtime just to catch a glimpse of the show. |
