If there's anyone in the industry with such vocal, unwavering loyalty and confidence in his brand, it's Aaron Greenberg. Leave it to Microsoft's director of product management to turn an interview into an elaborate sales pitch. Despite the Xbox 360's current position in the sales department, Greenberg remains absolutely confident that they will still come out on top. |

Those with a PS3 may be thrilled with the major exclusives arriving in the last quarter of the calendar, but leave it to Aaron Greenberg to shrug the incoming threats off and keep his confidence on the Xbox 360. In his interview with Eurogamer, Microsoft's director of product management explains that there's no need for Microsoft to worry about the PS3 exclusives since they're very much in shape against the competition. |

This is according to Aaron Greenberg, in a chat with Kotaku. "As we
continue to refine and make improvements on the internal components for
the Xbox 360 and costs come down, we pass those savings on to our
customers in the form of price drops," he explained. The price drop, he further said, "has been in the works for months and months." |

After making his "new Xbox 360" announcement at The Executive's Club of Chicago, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer personally makes the clarification for his confusing statements, complete with an apology. Even after Aaron Greenberg's quick rescue, it seems that the clarification must come from the guy who made the faulty comments. Speaking to IGN, Ballmer admitted his poor choice of words and apologizes for what it caused. More in the full article. |

Oh that was certainly quite a ruckus Steve Ballmer stirred up this week
for Microsoft, wasn't it? Even after Aaron Greenberg came rushing to
the rescue to clarify that there will be NO new console by 2010, even
Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) has spoken out to express that a new console is out of the question cos the Xbox 360 is all set with the company's support "long into the next decade." |

Well, whadd'ya know? Aaron Greenberg did step up to clarify a few things about Steve Ballmer's big announcement earlier today, and he didn't wait a day to do so. Greenberg, who is the director of product management for the Xbox 360, was quick to clarify: "There will be no new console." |

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer took the floor at The Executive's Club of Chicago earlier today, discussing the role and importance of innovation in changing economic times. His case in point? A new Xbox 360 will hit store shelves in 2010. |

To make it just a wee bit easier, here are all the E3 2009-related news that graced the QJ.NET pages in the past week. This is quite long, so I'll cut this intro short and get right down to the meat. Hit the jump for the QJ.NET E3 2009 Round-up. |

And so we become witness to the evolution of this generation's consoles
race. No, it's not just about the hardware anymore. This time around,
as we've all seen in E3 2009, it's about the controller. And how
controller-less it's all going to be. Nintendo had the Wii Motion Plus, Sony had the PS3 Motion Controller,
while Microsoft had Project Natal. Aaron Greenberg of Microsoft weighed
in on things, and is of the opinion that Sony's magic motion-sensing wand will be just as fun as the Wii's, but Natal is sure to go beyond them. |
