The NPD Group has released a compiled list of the top five best-selling games for each of the consoles. The report tracks sales data from the start of this year all the way up until August. Wondering which games made it to the lists? I'm sure some of you won't be surprised to see this or that title part of the list. Lots of acronym-friendly games chucked in, of course!

If you're the type who loves browsing through your hometown on Google Street View, then you'll definitely get a kick out of this interesting new mod which incorporates a Wii Balance Board peripheral. A blogger on blog.katsuma.tv was able to hot-wire the Google Earth feature onto a PC, allowing a user to literally walk through the streets of the city being viewed using the Balance Board.
