iPhone Weekend Warrior - Image 1With E3 kicking in full blast this week, the non-E3 posts on the iPhone blog fell silent, apart from Knights Onrush and the latest rumor on the new iPhone. Don't worry though, there's gonna be more on the E3 QuickPeek. For now though, the iPhone Weekend Warrior falls short of warriorship and may have to settle for being the weekend squire for this week.

RUMOR ALERT! - Image 1Everybody knows (or at least suspects) that there's a new iPhone model coming out. It's just that nobody knows when it will be released. It looks like Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal does, though. In his review of the new Palm Pre, Mossberg dropped hints regarding the new iPhone not just once, but twice.

Xbox 360 Motion-sensing controller - Image 1Things haven't quite quieted down as far as the Xbox 360 motion-sensing controller is concerned. Now, even the Wall Street Journal has word on Microsoft's crack at the scene, and it's pretty much consistent with all the other stuff we've heard so far - it's a camera and it might be out in E3. Since the father of iPod got off his feet to focus on his health, COO Tim Cook took over to see over the day-to-day operations of the company. However, it seems that Jobs just can't keep himself from being on the job. A report from the Wall Street Journal has revealed that Jobs does remain "closely involved" in the key aspects of running the company.
