It's common sense that Game Developer's Conference - such as the one that will be held in February in San Francisco, is a big event designed to draw a huge crowd. Then again, who wouldn't be attracted to a gaming event which Game Connection has confirmed to have more than 160 exhibitors preparing for it? Curious about who'll be there? Why not take a look at the full article after the jump for more details? |

The Game Connection organizers appear to be expanding their influence as of late, as news circulates regarding the event's very first advisory board. The Game Connection event, for those asking, was established to help provide a meeting place for both publishers and developers, which is in turn hoped to give both groups a better chance at creating and planning future video game projects. This announcements signifies the growing support the gaming industry now provides for Game Connection, which was also part of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco last March. As for the advisory board's roster:
As interactive entertainment production becomes even more globalized, the ability to identify these opportunities becomes even more critical. I am honored to have been asked to join the board as I believe the Game Connection events build positive relationships across the industry, regardless of a company’s size, market or language. In line with this announcement, we're also letting readers know that Game Connection organizer Connection Events is set to hold future conferences in Tokyo, Lyon, and San Francisco respectively:

Ubisoft has just released tons of new goodies for their upcoming racing game for the PSP, Asphalt: Urban GT 2.The game has already been out for the DS for quite some time now, but PSP users have to wait a little longer before they can flaunt their mad-driving skills. Asphalt: Urban GT 2 has also previously appeared on mobiles and on N-Gage, where the game became a huge hit. So, what can we look forward to in the PSP version? Well, aside from six game modes, numerous tuning and customization possibilities, 30 tracks, and 36 licensed cars and motorcycles (whew! that was a long list!), the in-game music will also whoop ass, with songs from Moby and tons more. Also, we think it's worth mentioning that the very hot Pussycat Dolls will also be making a cameo in the game. Yeah-huh, and you'll see this in one of the many screenshots we have for you today. And because we're such nice people here in QJ, we'll throw in the game logo and packshot (see image) as well. In case you might wanna keep these images in the background while you wait for the game to be released. Asphalt: Urban GT 2 is currently being developed at Virtuos' and Game Source's labs and is slated for release March this year.
