Even though they denied Dana White a UFC video game with the belief that mixed martial arts is "not a real sport," EA Sports is now jumping on the MMA train with EA Sports MMA, now unveiling the game's first screenshot, featuring the very painful armbar.

Having shifted nearly three million copies, the publisher is now considering expanding into more platforms and even yearly installments like all the other sports titles.

UFC president Dana White went on the warpath recently against EA Sports after the latter supposedly refused to go into a partnership for a UFC game and then eventually announcing their own MMA game. White wanted the Ultimate Fighting Championships to have its own video game and join those ranks, so he went to the EA Sports hoping for a deal. Unfortunately, EA did not believe in MMA, so they turned White down, saying that the UFC is "not a real sport."
