We all know that Valve's Half-Life 2: Episode 2 kicked some serious booty last year, and it's still among today's favorites because of its superior gameplay. The only downside in this scenario is that fans are asking for more, and they've started looking at E3 2008 as the possible birthplace of the next episode. Yes, Valve Corporation's Portal (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, PC) is indeed remarkable, but as tempting as the idea may be, the game developer studio won't cash in on the highly-lucrative series...for now. Steam has just released the Source SDK for Half Life 2. This update will automatically take effect once you restart your clients. Included in this update are enhancements and bug fixes.

Players can finally treat themselves out for cake after Electronic Arts revealed the details of the recently released version 1.10 patch for the Sony PlayStation 3 version of The Orange Box. The changelog of the new patch reveals the updates made to take care of the various bugs, memory leaks and other problems plaguing the game when it was first released. Don't look now, but EA has stealthily dropped a 128MB patch for the European version of The Orange Box. The game's fans who are enjoying it on the Sony PlayStation 3 have been itching for fixes that will curb issues marring a very good release.
