PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior - Image 1It was a week full of bittersweetness -- for those who have PSP Gos at least. Team Typhoon, the fellas behind ChickHEN, blew a lot of minds by showing proof of homebrew running on the PSP Go. The bad news is they have no plans of releasing their HEN. There's still hope, though. Homebrew dev Freeplay is still hard at work on developing an eLoader for the download-only handheld.

wagic - Image 1With the help of some dedicated Wagic fans, homebrew coder wololo has released a Star Wars Mod of Wagic, the ever-popular customizable fantasy card game for the PSP based on Magic the Gathering. The unofficial mod will contain 4 sets of cards and will feature new graphics and new sounds. Also included in this release is a new version of Wagic. More after the jump.

. - Image 1We've got a bunch of mystery games for you this Halloween week, as well as another one from the blood-curdling line of Ubisoft's Imagine titles, this time with Imagine Babyz Fashion. Headlining the line-up though would be Jak & Dexter for the PSP, the multi-platformer Lego Rock Band, and the new Need for Speed offering for handhelds, NFS: Nitro. Oh, and Band Hero featuring Taylor Swift is also here. Hopefully there'll be no Kanye to interrupt your game this time. Check out the full list in the full article.

PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1Lots of things happened this week on the QJ.NET PSP blog. A new firmware update came out, we saw some intriguing new Sony tech that'll supposedly be made available to game devs, and we also got a little reassurance from Sony that they ain't forgetting about no UMDs, no sirree. PS3 Slim - Image 1Less than 24 hours after its announcement, Sony's PS3 Slim skyrocketed its way to the top Amazon's Most Wanted list. Soon thereafter, it became the number 1 for the Bestsellers list. It stayed there rather comfortably until yesterday, when the Xbox 360 version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed stole the spot. But only for a day.
