Just because Sony thinks DS owners grow up to buy PSPs doesn't mean they won't be trying to bag the market of non-grownup girls. For that, Sony not only gave Hannah Montana a place in the PSP, but Disney's new pop princess will also come bundled with a lilac-purple PSP.

It's that time of the week again, eh? Time sure flies. It's been a busy week for Nintendo and the Wii and DS games, so let's get crackin'! For starters, we've got lots of Monster Hunter 3 updates for you guys, so you'd better check those out. Then the new Wii MotionPlus is making some noise with a few bundles and the biggest pre-release markdown you'll ever see. And barely making it to today's recap is a brand new Nintendo DS, only it's a bunch of rocks and a newspaper, minus the DS. Catch all that and more on this week's Weekend Warrior.

Possible. That would be the word that could best describe the concept of Skype on Nintendo's DSi. At least for Skype, that is. A rep for the VoIP compnay has said that  their service's growth strat does include making it available on any device.But in actuality? What does Nintendo say?

Now the rumors are being doused down with more set of rumors. Earlier, we posted an article on more juicy Insider Info on the PSP2. Is it or is it not real? Now we have a post from PlayStation LifeStyle, and really, this could have passed as just another of those sites dishing out info through their anonymous sources. What piqued our curiosity, though, was how matter-of-factly they dished out their info. How do they know? What else do they know? Is this Sony's round-about way of confirming things to us baffled, awaiting fans? Or... rather... could it be Sony's way of throwing us off-track?

All righty then! We got some huge developments on the iPhone front this week - notwithstanding some interesting rumors too. For one, Skype's making waves on the iPhone already, and another thing, the clockwork is tick-tocking nearer to the final iPhone 3.0 release - with some jailbreaker apps in tow!

Skype is now live for the iPhone in the US! But probably best not to grab the app from the iTunes store yet though. Reports have come in that it crashes units not on OS 3.0 Beta trying to connect over 3G.

A new era is dawning. Skype finally hits the iPhone tomorrow and you better be ready for a Day 1 download. They'll be launching their VoiP application through the App Store.

And yes, it's going to be a free download.

Ok, so a lot of us have been wondering: that's all they changed in the PSP-3000? A mic, and a "crisper" screen. Bwuh? Well, don't knock it till you try it. New pics from Famitsu show just how crisp the PSP-3000's screen is when compared with the Slim. Check it out in the full article.

Sony exec John Koller announced during an interview that the PSP's GPS receiver is expected to arrive in North America by next year. Koller further notes that Sony is also looking to create games built to work with the attachment's functionality. Further details regarding this matter are available in the full article.

Developer Red_Squirrel visited the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce the release of XMB Eboots Launcher v1.2. The latest build of this homebrew app carries a couple of new icons, and a spiffier-looking readme. Further details are available in the full article.
