A new build is out for the Wii's Genesis Plus Project (otherwise known as GenPlus). In case you're not familiar with the program, GenPlus is a Sega Genesis Emulator for the Nintendo Wii and GameCube. This latest version has several new updates, with a large emphasis on added controller support (it now supports up to 8 players!). If you're still yearning for some sort-of retro gaming, you can get your fix through the Sega Genesis emulator for the DS, jEnesisDS (previous version here). There are no new features added for the meantime, but has greatly improved performance and sound. More details in the full article.

Developer Eke-Eke has recently released build 30-05-2008 of the Genesis Plus Project for the Nintendo Wii console. This release has several bug fixes along with some handy new functions for the Wii. The changelog is available in the full article.

Splatterhouse 2 fans have something to celebrate - well, at least for as long as they're in Australia. The Australian Classification Board, OFLC, has now released their classification for the said title, which is on its way to the Wii's Virtual Console for the region.
