Gameloft is now hard at work in bringing Earthworm Jim out of the ground and back in the surface, freshened up big time with an HD overhaul. Earthworm Jim is getting ready for another adventure with Princess What's-Her-Name thanks to a deal between Gameloft and Interplay that has cleared the way for the former to develop, distribute, and publish an Earthworm Jim game for PSN, Xbox Live, WiiWare, and mobile platforms.

Team Typhoon has delivered. A new video demo showing homebrew launching on a PSP-3000 with official firmware 5.03 has been released. The video specifically shows Davee booting his Brite into a HEN environment and then launching the PSP homebrew game Jelly Car and the Sega Genesis emulator DGEN.

ZodTDD updates his genesis4iphone homebrew to version 3.0.0, and we're more than pleased to announce that it's already been made public! In case you just got your iPhone out of its box, and have just heard of the term homebrew (no, it does not mean home-made brewed coffee), genesis4iPhone is actually a Sega Genesis and Sega CD emulator for your iPhone and iPod Touch.

Davex's mod of Notaz's PicoDrive emulator sees its final release today. Unofficial PicoDrive v1.35b R (Rewind Mod) has gotten a few tweaks to its previous version, with the ability to remap the rewind button being one of them.

Genesis Plus is Eke-Eke's emulator project of the Sega Genesis/ Sega Megadrive for the Nintendo Wii. This, in particular, is a port of Charles MacDonald's Genesis Plus to the Wii hosting a lot of improvements.Changelog for this version includes improved sound engine.

Wiibrew developer eke-eke has rolled out another batch updates to four of his emulators: GnuboyGX (Gameboy and Gameboy Color emulator), GenPlusGX (Sega Genesis and Megadrive), SMSPlusGX (Sega Master System and Game Gear), and HugoGX (err... Hugo).

Mega Man 9 must have revived the retro spirit in Sega. The studio will be resurrecting several of its classic games from the Sega Genesis on both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, including the first three Sonic the Hedgehog games on the platform.
