Samsung has revealed their plans for the future: Blu-ray is clearly winning now (with maybe five more years left in its lifetime), so they might want to focus on other technological areas in which they can win. If Sony's got the media format down pat now, Samsung will be striving to bring us competitive OLED displays in the future. |

Bigger definitely spells better as hints of Samsung developing a full-frame sensor for its next digital SLR camera seem to be the latest buzz on the technical photography scene. Kyong-Kook Shin, assistant manager of Samsung's digital camera marketing planning group, backed this up by suggesting that the firm plans on using a full frame CMOS sensor (a.k.a. an active pixel sensor) for a professional camera.
