Gran Turismo 5 - Image 1In the latest making-of video from Polyphony Digital head honcho Kazunori Yamauchi tells us all about the inclusion of the Mercedes 2011 SLS AMG in Gran Turismo 5. A treat for hardcore car fanatics, but that's not the only interesting part in the video. There's also this certain box that Yamauchi is shown holding. One labeled Gran Turismo 5.

PSP Go - Image 1 Sony has called the Australian release of the PSP Go a "soft launch" amid low sales numbers. In its first week, the PSP Go managed to move only around 1,000 units in the region.

Tekken 6 - Image 1Dutch website NextGamer recently posted what is supposed to be a PS3 bundle for Tekken 6. The said bundle carries a 250GB PS3, and the picture of which apparently came from an official Sony website. SCE UK, however, is saying that they have nothing to do with it.

Sony Nazi ad - Image 1Okay, the other day, we picked up on this new ads from Sony for the PS3, featuring no less than a Nazi officer and Joan of Arc. It was met with much sensation, and now, Sony is responding to them, saying that those ads are "totally fake."

TouchEngine - Image 1The Sony HQ in Japan recently filed a patent for "TouchEngine" which, from what it seems, could be used in a variety of hardware ranging from, mobile phones, gaming controllers, to audio/video media devices. With the PSP Go and the PS3 motion controller well on their way, will this pave the way for Sony's next piece of hardware? More details after the jump.

Go - Image 1Well here we go again. With barely one week left before the scheduled launch of PSP Go, Kotaku Australia is reporting that the nation's largest games retailer, EB Games, is refusing to stock the PSP Go. According to the site, several stores in Sydney have confirmed that the PSP Go is not currently listed on their database and EB will not support the new PSP iteration.

Tales of Vesperia - Image 1A Japanese game developer has let out a bombshell on his blog, saying that Microsoft did pay off Namco Bandai to secure an "exclusive" Xbox 360 release for Tales of Vesperia. Hold it, though. That's not the best bit. The more interesting part is that Namco used the Microsoft subsidy to cut down the costs of the development of the PS3 version. In essence, therefore, Microsoft paid for the PS3 version's development. That got your attention, didn't it? There's more after the jump.

Sales up! - Image 1The success stories continue to surface for Sony and the PS3. We already know that sales week-on-week grew 999%, and the Slim has already smashed old Japanese sales records. Adding to those today is MCV UK reporting that the slimmed-down model of the console sold 40,000 units in the United Kingdom in just the first week of release.
