It's been a rather busy seven days for the PSP homebrew community. The great homebrew hope is still burning bright thanks to Freeplay's hack for the PSP Go (that was fast, wasn't it?), and custom firmware users who don't want to upgrade to non-M33 firmware have steadily been given better and better chances of playing new games on their old firmware thanks to Yoshihiro's frequent Game Decrypter updates and the arrival of a new app called Eboot Patcher. Homebrew coder Exter has dropped by our forums to release a new update for his brain twisting homebrew game PSP Rubik's Cube. The latest release now includes a new menu system, void cube, new custom backgrounds and cube skins, just to name a few.

 The new breed of PSP games may have come protected with the new OFW 5.55, but just because it comes with new security features doesn't mean an old bag of tricks won't work on it. The Medal of Honor Heroes exploit from 5.51 was found to work on the new OFW, so if you have a copy of that game, an eLoader is now in the works so you won't have to worry about 5.55 getting in the way of your homebrew. Also, lots of great apps got updated earlier this week, so be sure to check 'em out as well.

Version 2 of PSP Rubik's Cube is now available for download. The latest update of the mind-boggling homebrew puzzler, courtesy of Exter, based on the classic Rubik's Cube game has added new features and changes to make the game even more exciting.

Sponters has updated his Rubik's cube Wiibrew game, Goblin's Cube. The game is pretty much complete as it is now, so there's not much to do with it now, hence the short changelog. For those who haven't tried, Goblin's Cube controls the Rubik's Cube using the Nunchuk's and the Wiimote's accelerometers to shift the block. Changes after the jump.

Homebrew developer koopa has released a new update for Cubiic. Cubiic is a Wiibrew game that is based on the Magic Cube puzzle game. The new update added more texture to make it more realistic.
