Jeff Lait's homebrew game Powder (previous release here) for the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS is now even more playable, with the addition of fire arrows. Now that we mention it: are there any dungeon-crawling game that makes use of arrows and other similar projectiles, without fire arrows? In any case, the homebrew developer finally corrects the oversight. Check out the changelog in the full article.Download: Powder Release 104 for the DS Download: Powder Release 104 for the PSP |

One of the best things about the homebrew community">homebrew community is that gamers can directly communicate with the homebrew developer. This becomes especially useful if you're going to ask devs to add features to or report bugs in their apps and games. In Jeff Lait's Powder (previous version here), the dev now lets players ask for specific spells. Head to the full article for more details.Download: Powder Release 103 (for PSP) Download: Powder Release 103 (for DS) |

Most Nintendo DS homebrew gamers know about Powder, that awesome Roguelike game that's been around for quite sometime now (check out its 96th release here). Don't know what a Roguelike game is? Let us refresh your memory: its a classic dungeon crawler that looks like something that can be played on a NES. Pure, simple fun.
