Nintendo's main man in America, Reggie Fils-Aime, is making it known
that he's not that much of a fan of the PSP Go, characterizing its
concept as problematic. In an article from The Washington Post, it is
reported that Fils-Aime described the newest Sony handheld as having a
"fundamental concept problem." |

After weeks of denying rumors and trying to keep up with the console
pricing, Nintendo finally confirms the Wii price cut, though
unfortunately the UK isn't getting one. Still, in the words of that
counselor from The New Guy, "I'm sorry to tell you that denial is not
just a river in Egypt." Different context, I know, but the
deny-and-confirm-later-anyway routine is really catching on. Speaking
of catching, you can catch up with all the things Nintendo right here. |

Nintendo's big boss, Reggie Fils-Aime, was interviewed early in the morning for G4TV, to talk about the much-denied, eventually-true price cut
given to their Wii console. According to him, the price cut happened
because it had to happen, not because Sony and Microsoft were doing it. Full video interview after the jump. |

The Wii Vitality Sensor announcement was definitely one of the more
"Huh?" moments at E3 2009. While its function as a heart-rate monitor
wasn't hard to understand, a lot of people were left wondering how it
would be implemented in games other than, say, fitness titles. Says
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, gamers will see the
light once software is rolled out. |

With Sony and Microsoft making such big headliners back in E3, the
aftermath has left Nintendo a bit unsung. Worry not though, that's what
the Weekend Warrior is for, so you can get a quick recap of all things
Nintendo that hit the scene this week. Hardware is the name of the game
for the past few days, and so we have a one for a pedometer,
motion-sensors, and a lie detector. |

If you thought that Nintendo would have given up going after the
hardcore market now, you're dead wrong. They're more determined than
ever, and they remain positive that yes, they can still win over the Halo audience. |
