One of the new things arriving in Rapture via the PS3 version of BioShock
is the Ferris Wheel room. You might remember seeing screenshots of it
in an earlier post when we talked about the PS3-exclusive content. Today, 2K Games animator Grant Chang discussed about how he eventually
got this big wheeler into the game, despite it not being available in
the Xbox 360 and PC versions, as well as his awkwardly-fulfilling task to do some custom animations for Little Sister. |

What with all the recent games requiring a mandatory install, this one doesn't come as a surprise at all. The PlayStation 3 version of BioShock will have a mandatory install of 5 GB, so be sure you have some space on your drive when it comes out. Maybe plan what you'll do for 10 minutes as you wait for the install to finish. More after the jump. |

PS3 fans will be getting their own dose of Rapture City when BioShock
finally hits Sony's next-gen. But what's driving the anticipation
farther is the hope that there will be much better things to come for
this version. Well it looks like fanboys are up for a disappointment as
Melissa Miller reveals in an interview that there won't be any
difference between the Xbox 360 and PS3 version as far as visuals are
concerned. |

The Trophies have not only been revealed, they've finally been unveiled! Well, a couple of them at least. The guys at 2K Games, with the commissioned work of the 2K Marin folks, have finally shared what the BioShock PS3 Trophies are gonna be like, and how much blood, sweat, limbs and tears one must give up to win them. |

Speaking at the GDC in Paris, BioShock (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) lead programmer Chris Kline said that the game should gave failed from the get-go. This caught many attendees by surprise because BioShock was one of last year's most decorated titles. Why did Kline say this? Find out in the full article up ahead. |

In general - sad as it may be - movies based on video games don't live up to their original counterparts. But why do we watch these movies anyway, even if we know they'd never live up to the game? Only one answer came to mind: because we love the game. Thus the idea for this QuickList came about: what are the movies that we'd watch simply for love of the game? Read the five movies you might consider watching (even if they sucked) in the full article. |
