LittleBigPlanet's upcoming "Leerdammer" patch will finally free players from having to stick to offline level creation. Yep, they've finally slapped on a date to that online Create mode they promised a while back. The online Create mode's not the only thing new in the patch. Media Molecule has also made some tweaks under LittleBigPlanet's hood to improve its networking code and location-based matchmaking. They've even made it so players can save way more stuff. Homebrew coders Sleepper, M@x and the rest of the PSPKVM dev team has released a new update for PSPKVM, a port of SUN's phoneME Feature to enable MIDP/JavaME applications to run on the PSP. The latest update has added new features and more bug fixes for the excellent homebrew app.

It's been a while since we heard from homebrew coder Frezzy but now he's back with a new update for WordDS. The latest update has finally solved the low contrast keyboard issue and now has a qwerty keyboard.

The PSPKVM team -- composed of Sleepper, M@x and Anweifeng -- has released a new update for their Java mobile games emulator for PSP. The new version of PSPKVM has added new features and some bug fixes.

I'm perfectly fine with the good-old QWERTY keyboard. Some people might like to add a little flavor to their typing experience, though. That's where this new iPhone app comes in. This app turns the iPhone's boring yet familiar QWERTY keyboard into a Colemak keyboard, an alternative keyboard layout that's supposed to be tightly optimized for touch typing.

From what I can gather, this homebrew release from percyflette is a hangman-type game wherein you have to guess the word in order to win. According to the release update, this one's got 240 words in it thus far. Oh, and by the way, they're all in French.

They previously said it was scheduled for "an early December release," and now, we get an actual release date! According to a product listing on GameStop, the peripheral is now available for pre-order and is scheduled for release on December 1.

New information about the upcoming firmwares for the PS3 and PSP have surfaced. Well, when Eric Lempel revealed the list of features for PS3 FW 2.50 and PSP FW 5.00 yesterday, he did say it wasn't the entire changelog.

UPDATE: PS3 Firmware 2.50 is now available for downloading, folks. The changelog is shown once you start the download. Nice.
