For those of you not familiar with Leisure Suit Larry, this game revolves on the story of Larry Laffer, a 38-year-old geek who would like to believe that he's of the playboy quality. In Love for Sail, you will be joining Larry as he goes on a cruise for that wicked summer.

Playboy - Image 1Man lives in an eternal and unquenchable pursuit for happiness. That's a given. Thanks to today's technology, those of us who can't have it all in real life can get pretty close in virtual worlds like Second Life. Don't look now but things are bound to get even better come June.

Playboy Magazine has confirmed that it will indeed have its own piece of heaven built in the popular MMORPG. Details are still pretty blurry, but isn't that just like Playboy? Leaves a lot to imagination.

We certainly do hope that there will be a Playboy Mansion where the lucky can hang out and chill with the bunnies. Everyone knows that Hugh Hefner only flaunts the girls in his publication so that they can make enough cash to go to college and live a dignified life. We can't agree more. It's a win-win deal.

Let's hope everything turns out great in this cool little project. We can't wait to check it out.

Amora Sex Academy - Image 1Theme parks have always been for the kids. The Amora Academy of Sex and Relationships in London, however, is proving that adults can have fun, too. Call the nanny and leave the kids at home 'cause this ain't a day for a ferris wheel and a carousel.

Opening today, the Amora Academy of Sex and Relationships is a theme park devoted to the most cherished social activity we Homo Sapiens have ever known: Sex. This one isn't exactly the Disneyland of dildos, but we reckon it can put the Playboy Mansion to shame with the crazy stuff it's got.

The theme park boasts countless video clips of educational sex videos with people doing the deed voluntarily for the sake of science. Life-sized dolls which teach couples about erogenous spots and the fabled G-spot are available. Vibrators, dildos and sex dolls are also on display. The highlight of the show, however, is the Orgasm Tunnel which you can enter and as you go deeper, sensors play heartbeats getting louder.

By the time you reach the climax zone, a scream resonates and videos displaying facial expressions of people who just hit seventh heaven are played. Statistics regarding faking orgasms are also flashed, along with other useful info. Cutting the ribbon will be celebrated porn star Jenna Jameson, while Ron Jeremy will give the keynote speech.

Okay, so the part about Jameson and Jeremy isn't factual, but we're sure they'd be very proud to hear about this. Too bad, kiddies, the park is strictly for adults only. You'll have to wait a few more years to get in.

DoA girls - Image 1While this list isn't exactly the most original of its kind, we wanted to offer our take on which mamas are the hottest in the virtual world. Everything here is subjective and any list is as good as ours. So without remorse, this is our top 10 hottest game babes to date:

10. Maria Renard (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night)- The blonde hottie from Alucard's big night out may not have been seen in 3D glory and all, but the portrait was convincing enough. With her perfect complexion, killer brown eyebrows and the wavy, golden hair, she was a perfect leading lady to match with the vampiric charm of Dracula's son.

9. Mai Shiranui (King of Fighters)- Mai first appeared in the first half of the 90's in Fatal Fury 2. She immediately became one of the stars of the game for obvious reasons: She had the moves and the physique to match. Where rival bear 'em up Street Fighter II featured more conservative lady brawlers, SNK showed Mai's assets off with an innovative twist: Bouncing jubblies! Now imagine the testosterone levels in the old-school arcades more than a decade ago.

8. Aerith Gainsborough (Final Fantasy VII)- The gorgeous good girl of the legendary RPG Final Fantasy VII may have led a short and sweet character lifespan, but the fact remains that she's still one of the most beloved females in the business to date. Okay, the clothes she wore may not exactly be revealing, but we have to understand that it's how she was meant to be packaged in the first place. Imagine if she was a bit more fashion-trendy: She would have given the DoA girls a run for their money.

7. Morrigan Aensland (Dark Stalkers)- The naughty night warrior does that succubus lineage proud. She looked fantastic in 2D and had the ferocity to match. The anime spin-off of Capcom's popular Halloween fighter did her justice as she was just as charming there. Call her costume weird, but that only strengthens the convictions of her appeal. You gotta admit, not a lot of girls will look sexy in that!

A Playboy Playmate and a PS3. What more could a guy ask for (aside from a truckload of money, that is)? That's exactly what N'Gai Croal and the staff of Level Up got during Sony's Challenge a Playmate on PS3 promo in Miami.

The Playmate in question was Miss May 1998 Deanna Brooks. How did she stack up in the gaming department? Here's what Croal had to say:

...any hard feelings we might have harbored quickly evaporated when we discovered that Brooks is a gamer of long standing, from the Atari days on. While she certainly enjoys a good game of Madden NFL, the game she cites more readily is Sony's Ratchet & Clank series.

We began to suspect that Brooks was craftily shilling for her sponsors--until she revealed that what she really loves about Ratchet is beating the game, then starting over with her completely powered-up protagonist and scoring even more impressive weapons and gadgets. Then she told us about how her husband once put her on punishment for spending 12 hours straight on her PS2.

The final tally? Brooks, 7. Level Up team, 0. Massive pwnage.

Playboy logo - Image 1Sports fans know what February 4 (Sunday) means - Super Bowl season. Now, to kick things off just right, Sony has announced its PS3 console will be part of one the biggest parties going down on February 3 (Saturday) to start the season. And the invite comes from...Playboy?

That's right - every man's favorite bunny has just announced that in line with its "Eighth Annual Super Saturday Night Party," party-goers will get a chance to challenge one of the 30 Playboy Playmates to their favorite games on the PS3. As for the other activities...well, given this is Playboy after all, we'll leave it to your imagination.

The event name is titled "P.M.: Playboy Miami After Dark," and will be happening at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. Yes, we know - we can't help but be envious of the dudes who get a chance to get to try out Resistance or MotorStorm at the site...if that's what they're after. Wait, what was Sony's say on this sort of thing? Then there's that recent deal withDarth Pope Benedict...

playboy_1For those not in the know, Playboy has been running a yearly nude (or sometimes semi-nude) portfolio of hot video game characters for three years now. According to Scott Alexander, Playboy's Senior Editor, this is their way of injecting the video game culture into the magazine (read: getting the geeky hardcore gamers into buying Playboys).

Now, this year's Playboy Women of Gaming photo spread features nude female characters from different games gracing the front of the Playboy Mansion. Included in the list of virtual hotness are the following characters:
Sorry to disappoint you guys, but we don't have pictures of this year's photo spread. And the one pic we got (see image above) was cut out from the neck up, which, I really don't think we even have to explain to you why it was cut that way. Alexander explains further that good old Hef (Hugh Hefner, THE Playboy guru himself, for those who don't speak Playboy lingo) has always been a hardcore gamer. Hmmm...interesting. We've always known the man as a player, but as a gamer?

Apparently, Hefner even has a high-profile, real techy game room in the mansion which has everything from pinball machines down to the latest gaming whatnots (we wonder if he already has a PS3 and Wii in there?). Alexander says that combining video games and Playboy is the perfect move for the magazine because "the demographics for video games are a good match with the average Playboy reader..." and that "...tech is a huge part of men’s lives. The constituency of gaming and Playboy are almost exact."

So if you've got the hots for sizzling virtual babes (and you are of mature age, and it's not illegal in your state, and yada yada), you can check out Playboy's Women of Gaming photo spread and satiate those voyeuristic cravings of yours. A shame though, Samus didn't make it to this year's spread. Maybe next year?
