PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1Ah. First off let me just say that this Weekend Warrior is a particularly short one. But hey, we still heard some good PSP news over the week. Konami's finally announced that they're working on English demos for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and for those that can read Japanese there's a God Eater demo on the way. Best news so far this week for me, though, is BlazBlue PSP. Hit the jump for this week's PSP Weekend Warrior edition.

PlayStation Network - Image 1This week's PlayStation Store Update is now live. The controversial Rock Band Nirvana track pack is here, so all you rockers out there are sure to enjoy the animated Kurt Cobain rockin' it out alive and well in this game. It's a double treat too as Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl's own band, Foo Fighters, also shares some love in this week's release. Other big releases include Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PSP, Trine's PS3 demo and Ghostbusters: The Video Game on the PSP. Full list awaits after the jump.

God Eater - Image 1It's been a while since we last heard about Namco Bandai's God Eater. If you know Japanese (or have enough trust in your ability to navigate a menu without understanding a thing about it), you'll get to do more than hear (or read) about it soon. You can get to play the demo.

Crimson Room Reverse - Image 1Crimson Room: Reverse is a PSP port of the popular Crimson Room flash game where players have to find their way out of a locked room. Japan already got it last year, and it looks like the US will be getting it as well.

The game's already coming out on PSN this week, so to give you a better idea of how the multiplayer component goes, here's a video.

PS3 Weekend Warrior - Image 1So what transpired in the world of Sony's PS3 this week? Nate Drake's newest adventure is certainly off to a good start. And then there's word that the PS3 is continuing its newfound sales spurt in the land down under. Oh, and here's a no-brainer: rumblings about new entries in two of the PS3's biggest franchises have started to trickle out from the rumor mill. All in all, another good week for the PS3. Well, except maybe for that one particular console they threw into the Bravia. It didn't seem to get too banged up though.
