In a BAFTA lecture in London, Peter Molyneux reportedly confirmed the integration of the Natal technology in Fable 3. This first spread to the Internet by a tweet from Nicholas Lovell, founder of Gamesbrief.

Lionhead Studios' Peter Molyneux reportedly got a beating from fans over the ending of Fable II that they were actually forced into rewriting the DLC. Well, of course he wasn't beaten up literally, only by hate mail, but it's not quite hard to imagine how strong the sense of urgency must have been for them to shelf their already-written DLC storyline to accommodate the request demand of the fans for a happier ending.

Peter Molyneux kicked off Microsoft's GamesCom press conference with a bang by announcing Fable III for the Xbox 360. There's also something in store for the game's forebear, Fable II, in the form of an episodic release on Xbox Live. More after the jump.

While the games side of the Microsoft news isn't the best we've seen, the industry certainly brings a lot of issues to the table for Microsoft and the Xbox 360. The Microsoft E3 2009 Press Conference wowed the world with Project Natal, a motion camera supposedly so advanced that it takes voice and gesture recognition to an entirely new level. Weird that our Warriors won't be touching on the E3 event when that was undoubtedly the biggest news we had all this past week? No, not really. Lionhead Studios' main figurehead Peter Molyneux is getting in on some double-duty as he gets promoted as Microsoft Game Studios Europe's creative director. He will basically be oerseeing  the projects of Microsoft in UK and Europe, as well as the different ones that they have with external partners.

Microsoft was definitely on a roll the week before E3, coming out with their own "leaks" and surprises. A new Zune is on the way, as well as a new TV/video service for Xbox Live. For his next game, though, it seems he's taking a much more subdued approach, choosing only to say that it's both "insanely simple" and yet "ridiculously ambitious". Well, that might not be much to go on, but we may hear more about this new Lionhead project next week at E3.
