PSP Go - Image 1The "second analog nub" mantra has since become sort of a call to arms for a vocal portion of PSP users. When Sony revealed that the new PSP Go would still have only one analog nub, these dissatisfied users ranted and raved about what they considered a "stupid" decision. There's a reason for every decision, though. As for the lack of a second analog nub on the PSP Go, Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Worldwide Studios, says that they did consider adding it, but it was just too early in the PSP's life cycle to implement it now.

RUMOR ALERT! - Image 1Ah, numbers. Sony's already cleared up that 480MHz figure on the PSP Go, but now we have another rumor bringing up more impressive digits that lay in the PSP's future. Eurogamer.es is claiming to have insider sources who say that the PSP2 (note that this isn't the same as the PSP Go) will have a quad-core graphics chip inside its as-yet-unrevealed structure. Dead Space - Image 1Electronic's original IP Dead Space (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) was most certainly alive and kicking in sales as the figures have been revealed, after being released on multiplatforms (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) late last year. In total, the game's raked in 1.4 million copies. With this success rate, is it likely that we'll be seeing to other platforms?

PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1The PSP faithful are finally seeing what they have hoped for for years: more heavyweight games coming to the Sony PlayStation Portable. For the whole month of April, it seemed as if every week we saw the announcement of another new game coming to the Sony handheld. This week closed April out with a bang, carried mainly by Namco Bandai's powerful one-two punch: PSP versions for popular brawlers Soul Calibur and Tekken 6. Capcom also pitched in, revealing more about Fate/unlimited codes and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

PSP2? - Image 1Now the rumors are being doused down with more set of rumors. Earlier, we posted an article on more juicy Insider Info on the PSP2. Is it or is it not real? Now we have a post from PlayStation LifeStyle, and really, this could have passed as just another of those sites dishing out info through their anonymous sources. What piqued our curiosity, though, was how matter-of-factly they dished out their info. How do they know? What else do they know? Is this Sony's round-about way of confirming things to us baffled, awaiting fans? Or... rather... could it be Sony's way of throwing us off-track?

Thanks to Richard Allen for the tip!

PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1John Koller likes to talk about the PSP's upcoming games. It does get a little stale at times, but it seems like the man really does mean what he says. The past few months alone have been some of the best to have a PSP, what with one game getting announced after another. Hardware-wise, we're still in Zombieville thanks to the undying PSP2/PSP 4000 rumor, and things even got more interesting this week after the long-awaited portable version of Gran Turismo was rumored to be a launch title for the PSP2. Recap after the jump!
