Remember SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 (PS2, PSP, Wii)? A year on and it looks like SNK is finally ready to release the next volume in the compilation. Thing is, it seems they're going backwards instead of forward.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii and DS) proved to be a phenomenal success on both the DS and the Wii, racking up five million sales worldwide a mere three months after its January release in 2008. Rumors about a follow-up to Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii, DS) have started to circulate around the Net, thanks in part to an image spotted in Spanish gaming magazine Nintendo Accion.

At the Beijing Olympic Games, 25 world records have fallen - seven of them alone were broken by Michael Phelps of the US. While records being broken are not foreign during the Olympics, the sheer amount of them this year is astounding. Does water in Chinese swimming pools have steroids or something? Those of you who've previously heard about the Olympics-like extravaganza that will be running on Blizzard's World of Warcraft today, there's no need to worry about the US servers missing out on this special event. As 08-08-08 drums ever so near, it's not very surprising to find some Olympics themed video games in the works. Publisher Ghostlight has just released a batch of screenshots for one such title, International Athletics. It's slated for release on both the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS handhelds.
