Chrono Trigger for the DS was a pretty big piece of news for the DS community, but it seems there's more on the horizon than just that. Namco Bandai looks to be releasing a new Tales game as well, if a scan from Jump magazine is any indication. Find the scan after the jump!

We all know that Soulcalibur 4's character creation system will be extensive, but does the game really need 2 GB worth of HDD space for save data alone? What about the 6.5 GB install for the PS3 and the HDD requirement for the Xbox 360? Well, Namco Bandai is still playing coy when it comes to exact figures, but the company has released a statement regarding all these install size rumors. More in the full article.

Here's a bit of good news for PSP owners out there getting a little too tired of all these Mobile Suits. Japan's Famitsu magazine has revealed that Namco Bandai is preparing a new Macross game for the PSP. Even more interesting is that the game appears to be based (partly) on the currently ongoing Macross Frontier TV series. More details are available over in the full article.

Even more news from Microsoft's Xbox 360 RPG Premiere event, this time for Namco Bandai's Tales of Vesperia. Namco Bandai has not only announced the release dates of the game in Japan, North America, and Europe, it's also announced the impending release of a new Xbox 360 Bundle for Japan.  Okay, so it was a bit of a letdown when it was announced by Namco Bandai that Yoda and Darth Vader are walking separate paths in  Soulcalibur 4 (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) versions. PS3 owners and RPG fans were quite happy to hear about Namco Bandai and Tri-Crescendo's Eternal Sonata being ported over for Sony's PS3 console, but here's something that would turn the good news into quite the sour one. According to a spokesperson from Namco Bandai, there are currently no plans to publish the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata outside the US. More in the full article.

It's a blast from the past. A very bloody past. While a lot of you probably won't remember Splatterhouse, it still developed a cult following and became rather infamous in certain gaming circles. Namco Bandai's Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Drum Master in the US) may take the waggling route with this announcement: the game producer revealed that the Nintendo Wii will finally have its own Taiko no Tatsujin title. But that's not the only new title that's going to hit production soon; Namco Bandai's Tales series will also have another iteration for the Nintendo DS. More in the full article.

About a month back, it was reported that PAL regions will have their Soul Calibur fix once July 31 hits.
