Develop Online recently managed to get a little chit-chat out of Carl Jones, Crytek's director of global business development, and talked about where the future lies for the guys who brought us the visually stunning Crysis. The answer lies with online gaming and the home consoles, and that's exactly where the powerhouse CryENGINE 3 will be putting on a show. More after the jump. |

As of today, NCSoft's MMORPG franchise Guild Wars
has broken the six million sales mark. That's a LOT of copies sold. In
line with this milestone, ArenaNet has released a major content update
that includes new quest content and extra storage options. |

Did you know that the EverQuest MMORPG for the PlayStation 2 is still running? Did you even know it existed? Anyway, that's besides the point. Those who missed out on the PS2 version might get a chance to experience it on this get. SOE has suggested the franchise might find its way to the PlayStation 3. |

Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa will officially end its live services on February 28. Can't say I wasn't expecting this, especially after Richard Garriott announced his plans to leave NCSoft earlier this month. Players get some measure of consolation when the servers will be free to play starting January 10. Details after the link. Thanks to misthero for the tip! |

It looks like NCsoft will be literally taking the kid gloves off in terms of its focus in the MMO genre. In an interview conducted by Kotaku with NC West president of publishing David Reid, he mentioned that they will be redoubling their efforts on large, triple-A MMO titles from now on. Check out the details of this interview in our full article after the jump. |
