Codemasters has some goodies for all of you Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (PlayStation 3, Xboc 360, and PC) players as the first person tactical shooter's first DLC rolls out for its PC and Xbox 360 versions. Remember Oscar? The dog that chewed his master's Xbox 360 controller all the way into buying 60 bucks worth of Microsoft points? Well, word got around, and Microsoft found the story so amusing that they're giving the dog a refund, a Gamertag, and a few more goodies to chew on.

Oscar is a lovable year-old Lab-Hound mix with a knack for chewing his master's stuff. He's chewed them all - pillows, slippers, undies, candles, bottles - even his master Greg's Xbox 360 controller. With his latest chew toy, however, Oscar gnawed his way into turning his master's console on and managed to buy his master 5,000 Microsoft points. No biggie, Greg didn't mind - it gave him a chance to go for a few things he's been putting off.

Time to take that walk in the historic Abbey Road as MTV Games, Harmonix and Apple Corps, Ltd. announced today the launch of Abbey Road (1969) as the first of the Beatles' album to be released as downloadable content. The DLC will be landing in The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii)Music Store on October 20 for the Xbox 360 and Wii, and October 22 for the PS3.

Following yesterday's leak, BioWare has stealthily released the second downloadable content for Mass Effect called Pinnacle Station. The brand new DLC is now available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points (US$ 5).

Great news to all US-based Xbox gamers, you can now use PayPal as a method of payment on Xbox Live Marketplace. PayPal on Xbox LIVE allows users to buy Microsoft Points without having to associate your credit card information to your Xbox LIVE account.

The Gorillaz will be headlining next week's Rock Band update with three songs being made available as DLC for the game's PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. The Wii version is also getting its own update in the form of eleven tracks taken from the Rock Band back catalog, while Rock Band Unplugged will play host to a pair of new Iron Maiden songs.
