Beautiful Katamari for Xbox 360 - Image 1The Xbox Live downloadable content for Namco Bandai's Beautiful Katamari for the Xbox 360 is now out, with a new Royal Rainbow-themed Dashboard theme available for the following regions: Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan, and the US. The theme costs 150 Microsoft Points and is non-refundable.

New in-game content for the Prince's rolling adventures on the Xbox 360 are also available, in the form of four new missions:
  • Milky Way Constellations - Roll up 88 constellations to create the Milky Way
  • The Weaver Girl - Roll up a huge ball of yarn and string to create Vega, the Weaver Girl
  • Shopping Spree - Make a Space Station but be thrifty about it; sounds like an offshoot of a Katamari mission from one of the previous games where the value of the items collected are taken into account
  • High-calorie Katamari - Feed Cetus the Whale, roll up lots of food!
Certainly exciting new content, and Katamari fans will immediately take a liking to these new missions. The catch? The first three missions are available in Asia only, while the last mission, High-calorie Katamari, is a Japan-exclusive. Which means there's no downloadable Katamari action for the rest of the world...well, at least for now.

Of course, they may get released to other regions. More updates as they come!

People may soon have to trade in their conventional travel passports for something a little more in the near future. The construction of Spaceport America, the world's first commercial spaceport, in New Mexico is already being planned out.

The design was provided by engineering enterprise URS Corporation teamed and Foster + Partners which  is based in the United Kingdom. The 100,000 square-foot facility will serve as the primary airbase for Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic suborbital spaceliner, as well as the headquarters for the New Mexico Spaceport Authority.

Spaceport America's hanger can support two White Knight Two carrier aircraft and five SpaceShipTwo spaceliners. Both vessel types now under construction at Scaled Composites in Mojave, California. The design for the terminal incorporates the natural earth as a berm while relying on passive energy for heating an cooling, with photovoltaic panels for electricity and water recycling capabilities.

A concrete roof will be built with massive window openings with a view of the runway and spacecraft. The construction of the spaceport will begin in 2008 with a projected completion date in late 2009 or early 2010. Will Whitehorn, President of Virgin Galactic explains the company's purpose and goal:

The deal between New Mexico and URS working with Sir Norman Foster will produce a spectacular, but very environmentally efficient landmark for the new era of space travel. The design for Spaceport America is not only breathtaking but also practical which is also what I believe SpaceShipTwo and its launch aircraft WhiteKnight Two will be regarded as when their respective designs are unveiled next January.

Whitehorn added that Virgin Galactic is dubbing 2008 as "The Year of the Spaceship" to hail the advent of their plans to make private space travel available for everyone.

Did Sierra Gamer's Week '07 get you wet yet? If not, be ready to cream your pants (so to speak) due to their latest installment, Wet (Xbox 360, PS3). Don't let the title give you any ideas, because this game is a solid third-person shooter with a good mix of sword swinging action. Find its first trailer below.

Info on the game is slippery, but we do know that the girl in the bathtub is named Rubi. We see a lot of her crazy moves, which you can find on the first high-budget Asian action film you can think of. Our well endowed babe is a gunslinger who can do fancy kills with a katana.

Wet seems to be set in Mexico, but with a twist of Hong Kong flicks. Prepare to get wet and wild! Here's the video:
