Optimus Prime says... - Image 1Now, personally, my knowledge of Japan looking for aliens is basically limited to that line of toys which eventually gave birth to Optimus Prime and the rest of his Transformers crew. All that might change though, if Japan's little project bears any fruit. Don't look now, but a team of astronomers in Japan are actually planning to scan around the cosmos for aliens. Loki's looking good, huh? No, we're not talking about that Marvel Comics villain that appeared in The Avengers. We're talking about Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Entertainment's latest entry into the action-adventure-RPG history books. Well, ok, not so much as history books, but more so of mythology.

As we've heard from before, you can choose from a variety of character roles, each of which will represent a different mythology: Greek, Egyptian, Aztec, or Norse. While we've previously seen the trailer focusing on the Norse Warrior, today we've got a new trailer that focuses on two character roles - that of the Egyptian sorcerer and the Aztec shaman. Check it out below:

Marvel Comics is slated to come up with its Halo Uprising series this July, and the hype is obviously being upped by Stan's boys. How? Well, characters across the Marvel Universe have been talking about it profusely.

In Avengers: The Initiative #2 and Ms. Marvel #15, the game was mentioned more than once. As War Machine puts it when he hands over a pulse rifle to teammate Cloud9, he instructs her with "It's just like playing Halo. Just point and click."

The source says that scans will probably be uploaded in a few days, so let's watch out for that. The next thing you know, Galactus himself will cross over to the Halo storyline and eat everyone up to end the war and seal the peace - eternally.
