Mac users beware - the first ever ARDAgent-based Trojan malware was recently identified by SecureMac, compromising the security of the normally airtight Mac OS X system. Known as "AppleScript.THT", the Trojan exploits a vulnerability in the Apple Remote Desktop Agent and allows malicious users complete access to the system. Whispers went round since Steve Jobs unveiled the 3G iPhone that Apple had a new version of the iPhone firmware cooking in the kitchen. These whispers soon escalated to rumors that the alleged iPhone v2.0 firmware was to release before the 3G revision of Apple's revered touch phone was ready for retail. We expect that the homebrew community was looking forward to promising leads that might hint an unlockable option for the 3G iPhone, so perhaps this news bit would brighten their day: a future ZiPhone jailbreak release could do just that. |
