If you thought growing up on your hood was tough, wait 'til you experience THQ's Homefront, yet another FPS coming to the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Developed by Kaos Studios, this new shooter takes the fight out of the usual jungles, complexes, and fictional planets. Homefront, as the name implies, will have you defending your very own backyard against invading foreigners, and when they walk into your place with guns, you know things are gonna get personal.

Hold fast, men - reinforcements have arrived in the form of a patch correction for Frontlines: Fuel of War multiplayer matches, including that annoying anti-comma gremlin that PunkBuster happened to take to the party. Freebies are a good way to renew interest in a game. That said, Kaos Studios has planned just such an event for Frontlines: Fuel of War, bringing in new downloadable maps for the game, beginning with the Boneyard map. Learn more after the jump!

 The latest patches for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Frontlines: Fuel of War have dropped over at Steam and will be available to your systems once you start the client. Changelogs can be viewed over at the full article for references on the changes.

Attention, soldiers! An update about Frontlines: Fuel of War's upcoming patch, 1.1.0 has been released and the patch notes lists quite a number of planned changes, the addition of PunkBuster and Spawn Protection, and lots of other bug fixes and other stuff. With patch 1.0.2 all done with, Kaos Studios is now well into working on patch 1.0.3 for the PC version of Frontlines: Fuel of War (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). A new patch for the PC version Frontlines: Fuel of War (also available on the Microsoft  Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) should be coming some time this week according to a post from the Kaos Studios developers. The owners of the PC port of Kaos Studio's Frontlines: Fuel of War FPS will want to know that there's a new update waiting for them from the Steam online service.

This software update will include the addition of parental controls, at least if you're running on Windows Vista. The update's changelog is available in the full article.

You may still be reeling with last week's release of epic titles such as Capcom's Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors, and other major titles, but now's not the time to rest. Been tailing news on Frontlines: Fuel of War, have we soldier? You might have caught wind of someone (somewhere) claiming that Kaos Studios' multiplayer tactical-strategic shooter could support as much as 50 players in multiplayer for the Microsoft Xbox 360.
