PSP Slim - Image 1 After the previous version, jas0nuk is back with an update for the ELF application for Pandora and DAX's Despertar Cementario v.3. For this build, he describes it as a minimal ELF Menu for Pandora. The changelog for v0.2 contains the following tweaks:
  • Applications containing _SLIM or _FAT at the end of the filename (e.g. blah_SLIM.elf) will be greyed out if the menu is not running on that model.
    • e.g. keyCleaner_FAT.elf will be greyed out and unselectable on a Slim PSP.
  • Minor bug fixes
Now, the ELF MEnu v0.2 comes with very specific installation instructions, so it would certainly be your best choice to make sure and check out the Read Me. It's better to be safe than sorry, eh?

Pandora ELF Menu v0.1a - now sets the current working directory - Image 1Homebrew developer jas0nuk just released a new build of the application ELF Menu to be used with Pandora and DAX's Despartar Cementario v3. For starters, this particular program allows users to replace the existing ms0:/kd/resurrection.elf on your magic memory stick.

The ELF Menu then will show a list of ELFs inside the ms0:/elf folder where you can choose your preferred ELF. Anyway, here are the changes to ELM Menu v0.1a as provided by the developer:
  • Now sets the current working directory, so apps which load PRXs from the same folder as the elf will be fine
  • Moved "Now loading.../shutting down..." message
ELF Menu v0.1a comes with a Readme.txt file containing necessary information on installation and other reminders from jas0nuk. Read that first before doing anything to avoid any problems.

PSP Battery - Image 1PSP homebrew developer jas0nuk just released Pandora Elf Menu for the Pandora Battery. What it does is allow users to choose which ELF files to access when booting up their Sony PSPs with the Pandora Battery and magic memory stick.

The download comes with Resurrection.elf to replace the one existing on your PlayStation Portable, so you can see a list of what's inside your ELF folder. You'll have to work with ELF files, because EBOOT files can fail. PBPUnpacker can convert EBOOT to ELF files if you really have to.

You can download jas0nuk's Pandora ELF Menu app by clicking on the download link below. As always, it helps to check out the Readme file for the installation instructions and to find out which tools are nice to have in your ELF folder.

Thanks to CypResS for the tip!

PSP - Image 1Jas0nuk has released a new version of PRXdecrypter, bringing this psardumper mod up to version 1.7. This version of PRXdecrypter has quite a few improvements, so check out the changelog below to see what's new.
  • Fully compatible with HEN/2.71/3.xx kernel/3.60 M33 - Just copy PRXdecrypter_3XX folder to GAME. Have fun, firmware modders.
    • OE and M33 users should also use this version, just put it in GAME352 or GAME (if you have that set to the 3.52 kernel)
    • 1.50 users (if any of you still exist) or those who want to use the 1.50 kernel, use the kxploited version.
    • I will maintain this version in case the 3.XX kernel changes significantly which breaks PRXdecrypter
  • Added 3.60 and 3.7X keys
  • HEN/3.XX version doesn't need sysmem_rlz.prx for RLZ decompression as it uses the function from the 3.xx kernel
  • Huge internal cleanup with clearer messages, better error handling and more speed.
  • Improved logging (logs almost everything now)
  • Press O to UnSignCheck all files in the ms0:/enc folder
  • Press RIGHT on the D-PAD to extract reboot_02g.bin from loadexec_reboot_02g.prx (from 3.60 or higher)
Please note that the HEN/3.xx version will not run on the 1.50 kernel and vice versa. Jas0nuk also mentions that "SystemCtrl.prx from M33 3.52-3 or higher will not decompress as it uses a custom SignCheck". This feature may be added in a future version, though.

Read the bundled readme.txt file carefully for more information before you install this app. The well-being of your PSP could depend on it.
