PSP Go - Image 1Looks like the retailers over at UK are deliberately disobeying Sony's set price points for PSPGo. Eurogamer is reporting that Amazon.co.uk, Play, GAME, and HMV have all dropped their prices for the newest Sony handheld, from £224.99 (US$ 359) to £199.99 (US$ 319).

PSP Go - Image 1UK High Street retailers have said that while the PSP Go -- and the PSP series in general -- has a lot of exciting things coming for it, Sony's decision to opt for the decidedly non-retail friendly model of download-only games is a definite cause for concern. That, and the reportedly high price point.

Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition - Image 1 When the Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, and PC) showed up on UK retailer HMV's website, it quickly sold out. If that's not enough indication of how limited this item is, Infinity Ward community manager Robert "fourzerotwo" Bowling says that it's so limited, they won't make more even if demand is high.

DJ Hero - Image 1 If you wanna be the star of the party, then you gotta pony up some hard cash. That seems to be the message Activision is sending their European patrons awaiting the new DJ Hero (PS3, Xbox 360). UK retailer ShopTo has divulged to Eurogamer that the price point at which the game will release is at a cold GB£ 107.99 (US$ 177.70).

Nintendo DSi - Image 1Unfortunately, there won't be a DSi launch event in the UK. This was confirmed by Nintendo to Eurogamer, saying that the reason behind this decision is that the DSi is a mere evolution of the existing DS model, and not necessarily a replacement.

Left 4 Dead for PS3? - Image 1There have been rumors going around that Left 4 Dead, a shooter from Valve that's only out for the Xbox 360 and the PC, is coming to the PS3.
