PlayStation Portable users in Europe now have an alternative to the Skype instant messaging application introduced by Sony a couple of months ago. In a recent statement released by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and BT, it was announced that they will be launching a new wireless communication package for the PSP called Go!Messenger. Well, folks, we've finally found an official English press release for PSP Firmware 3.90, and it's for Europe this time. In addition to the announcement of Skype for the PSP, they also mentioned one little addition in the firmware update that should be of interest to people who can't use Skype: the Go!Messenger icon.
