The homebrew coders from the ScummVM Team have released a new update for the classic point-and-click adventure games emulator. The latest release candidate update has added support for more games, more improvements and other bug fixes.

Homebrew coder ZodTTD has released a new update for gpSPhone, a Game Boy Advance emulator for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. The new release, now out of beta, supports firmware 2.x as well as 3.x and includes audio-sync fixes among other things.

Budding musicians will like this one. N0stromo is looking to port LittleGPTracker (also known as "the piggy") to the PSP. In case you haven't heard of the piggy, it's a music tracker - software that allows you to make music. More details after the link.

The title doesn't strike you, does it? But if you're familiar with Streets of Rage and King of Fighters, then OpenBOR isn't something you should let pass. From the engine that allowed Beats of Rage (BOR) to debut on the PC comes the open source version for multiple platforms. Homebrew coder SamuraiX released OpenBOR version 2.1933 for the PSP the day before yesterday, along with Linux (PC, PS3), GamePark, GP2X, DreamCast, Xbox, and Windows versions as well.
