PSP - Image 1Here's a piece of good news to the PSP homebrew community. Early last month, as some of you may recall, FreePlay has released a video showing us that he has successfully hacked Sony's latest handheld iteration that got everyone buzzing with excitement. Well, now he's back to give us a status update on his project. According to his YouTube channel post, he is now making progress on the exploit with his NID resolver working flawlessly, and if he can get the eLoader source to work, we may have a PSP Go eLoader soon that will allow us to run our favorite homebrews on the PSP Go.

PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior - Image 1It's been a rather busy seven days for the PSP homebrew community. The great homebrew hope is still burning bright thanks to Freeplay's hack for the PSP Go (that was fast, wasn't it?), and custom firmware users who don't want to upgrade to non-M33 firmware have steadily been given better and better chances of playing new games on their old firmware thanks to Yoshihiro's frequent Game Decrypter updates and the arrival of a new app called Eboot Patcher. All that and more homebrew goodness in the PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior!

PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior - Image 1Last week's announcement of a new CFW in the works was marred by cries of shenanigans from the homebrew community. We already touched on that a bit in the previous edition of the PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior, but the issue didn't stop there. In the past seven days, we saw new videos both backing up and debunking the one that Team Mack showed. Read on for the rest of this week's PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior.

FreePlay debunks Team Mack 6.00 CFW - Image 1Despite being widely criticized for their work on MAC-B 6.00, Team Mack has remained adamant, continuing to defend themselves with video updates, which continue to get bashed anyway. If user comments won't get to them, maybe this one will. If there's anyone in the homebrew scene who's gonna speak up against tomfoolery, it's FreePlay. The self-confessed "PSP hacker, PSP Revolution addict, atheist, skeptic, all-purpose ranter" posts his own video debunking Team Mack's 6.00 CFW.

Explination - Image 1When Mack's CFW 6.00 MAC-B video surfaced, the word "fake" was echoed in forums and comments sections all over the interwebs. Insisting that they're legit and their work will indeed be downloadable in the future, Mack posts another vid explaining everything.

Team Noobz - Image 1Keeping tabs on our Who's Who QuickGuides? Let's see now - we've had the life and times of Dark AleX, the AhMazing AhMan, the silent but deadly MaTiAz, the free radical FreePlay, and the scene prodigy Davee. Now let's point the spotlight to one of the scene's most high-profile collection of superdevs. With their countless contributions to the grateful homebrew community and an unhappy Sony, it's only fitting that we pay tribute to "homebrew without a clue" - the great irony known as Team Noobz.
