MMO gamers itching to try out EA Mythic's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will finally be able to do so this September 7, when the game's open beta phase finally goes live. With the official launch of Flying Lab Software's Pirates of the Burning Sea only a little over two months away, Flying Lab Software is inviting PotBS players to sign up early for the second installment of their PotBS stress test event. Dubbed the Fileplanet PotBS Open Stress Test, the event will begin tomorrow, November 15, 2007 and end on Sunday, November 18, 2007.

Gas Powered Games and THQ in cooperation with FilePlanet have launched the Beta of this stand-alone expansion to Supreme Commander. That's right, you don't have to own the first game and install it in order to play Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance.

New gameplay features are trumpeted by the developers. The biggest addition, of course, will be the new faction called the Seraphim.
