Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is set to kick August off with one mean update. They're adding the anticipated Gran Turismo TV feature this month along with a lot of other fixes that will have gearheads wetting their pants. It's total automotive entertainment from Polyphony Digital this month.

Sony Computer Entertainment America's recently unveiled another new set of wheels being prepped for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue: The Scuderia Ferrari F2007. It's fast enough, it seems, that SCEA's Taku Imasaki has described it as the game's "God Mode." More details regarding this topic are in the full article.

Fans of Turn 10's Xbox 360 racing video game, Forza Motorsport 2, will be happy to know that the exact release date of the March Car Pack has finally been revealed. The North American release of Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be getting additional content after all. The official Gran Turismo site has just released more information for the upcoming retail release of Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Those who couldn't wait to get hold of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue should take heed of this Tokyo Game Show 2007 announcement: there will be five tracks available in Prologue. Thinking that it's too few to keep yourself entertained until Gran Turismo 5's release? Keep in mind that there are other features jampacked in the game that will definitely enhance gamer experience.

As mentioned in a previous article, Prologue will feature a 16-player online multiplayer feature, which is a first for the Gran Turismo franchise. 30 cars will be made available, including Ferrari, Lotus, Nissan, and Mitsubishi vehicles, to add more replay value to Prologue.

If you're bored with driving cars, then you can just take a break and just watch Gran Turismo TV. Gran Turismo TV will let you get connected and watch car racing programs without having to log off the game for a fee. Also, if you're feeling lucky and want to show off your moves to friends, then you may find the Photo Mode handy in getting screenshots of your game and saving the snaps into your hard drive.

Koch Media and System 3 are cooking up Ferrari Challenge (Wii, DS) with a promise that the Wii version will have "the most accurate motion-sensing steering yet seen on the revolutionary console." We have no idea how the DS version will hold up, or even if how accurate exactly the game will be given little details we know, but we stumbled upon screenshots at least.

From what we can see, both iterations of Ferrari Challenge are making good use of their respective platforms. Sharp car models and lively environments represent the Wii version. The DS version is utilizing both screens, with competent graphics comparable to the best we've seen for the handheld.
