When it comes to getting the inside scoop on the latest in gaming, few
can compare to the knowledge that Famitsu brings. Apparently, the
Japanese gaming mag has gotten so big that it went from getting inside
scoops to getting inside the game. If knowledge is power, then Phantasy Star Portable 2
gives a whole new meaning to arming yourself with knowledge - the game
will allow you to arm yourself with the power of the Famitsu Shield. |

If you thought that the Alternative Edition DLC for Resident Evil 5 was simply going to be a single scenario and motion control support, think again. Famitsu got the goods once again with a two-page spread on the upcoming add-on, revealing more content than previously revealed. |

We've picked up on a couple of new scans for Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.
The scans are from a Japanese magazine, though not necessarily Famitsu.
If you look closely on one of the scans, you'll find that Niko is back.
Is that a give-away as to how this adventure will unfold? |

When the Japanese gaming mag, Famitsu broke the news on a Final Fantasy XIV (PS3, PC) code coming with the purchase of Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PS3), many folks went, "Ah, beta access!" over the supposedly good news. As it turns out, it's not a beta code. Famitsu now explains that it is in fact a campaign code, and it doesn't give you access to the FFXIV beta. |
