Heads up, Square Enix fans! News has trickled in for all three entries to the Fabula Nova Crystallis series. The biggest news? We'll finally get to watch a battle scene from Final Fantasy XIII by the end of the year. Looks like we'll finally get to see how the gameplay system works. More after the link.

Hungry for more FF? Tetsuya Nomura gives more details on the characters from Final Fantasy Versus 13. From the looks of it, we have two more classic Final Fantasy personas - the strong-willed, high-society female, and the cold, antisocial male. More details in the full article.

Oh, even more scans! Today we see another feature on the Fabula Nova Crystallis trio: FF13, FFV13, and FFA13. This time around, the scans are from Famitsu (yesterday's scans were from V-Jump, remember?). Here we see FF13's Snow getting a last name, Versus' tense chemistry between Noct and Stella, and Agito's battle system.

Scans from the recent issue of V-Jump magazine have surfaced, showing Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Xbox 360), FF Versus XIII, and FF Agito XIII. Some of the Fabula Nova Crystallis screens and artwork seem to be a recycled batch from the previous media (screens, trailers, scans, etc.). In fact, V-Jump's coverage looks strangely similar to Shonen Jump's scans from last week. Nevertheless, we'll take what we can get - heh, another excuse to see the topless renders of the Versus characters.

Time to update those nicknames! Pigtailed Girl still remains as Pigtailed Girl, but as for Mr 33cm, it's a different story now. Shonen Jump reveals the formal name of some of the characters in the three Fabula Nova Crystallis games, with an assortment of screens and art littering about.

In a recent interview, Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase, talks on some of the specifics for the command systems of the three games that comprise Final Fantasy XIII. Now if you've been following news on the Fabula Nova Crystallis series, then most of what Kitase says will already be familiar to you, but let this serve as a refresher course. Well, it's confirmed. If any of you guys have a convenient ticket going to Japan, now would be a good time to book it so you can catch the Jump Festa 2008 event. That's where Square Enix will be previewing the closed door trailer of its upcoming Final Fantasy Fabula Nova Crystallis games, as well as its other highly anticipated titles for next year.

You have to hand it to Square Enix when it comes to pushing any console to its absolute limit. Taking a look at some of the new screenshots from two of the games in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series, there's no doubt that we have another masterpiece installment in the long running Final Fantasy franchise.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) and Final Fantasy Agito XIII (Mobile) are two games which coincide with the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII video game on the PS3. Both games will feature new content for the series, but will still be related to one another.
