Box art of Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution by Eighting, Tomy for the Nintendo Wii - Image 1If you fancy yourself a fan of the popular ninja-themed Naruto anime/manga/video game franchise, then you're in for a treat. We've found a short video which shows an insider look of the opening menu for the single player story mode of D3Publisher and Tomy's Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution.

The video basically shows how this English-ported game will look and sound like after the developers from Eighting have translated this game from its Japanese origins. The game itself is based on a mix of its previous iterations in the Clash of Ninja series, with a few additions thrown in when it comes to playable characters and all new special attack animations exclusive to the fighting game.

You can take a sneak peek at how the English-voiced Naruto and Neji will sound like as they trash talk each other in the short video clip. For those of you who are familiar with the anime's and manga's storyline, this happens a during the Chunin exam, after Neji defeats Hinata in a duel which puts the two Hyuuga ninja's family honor at stake.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is a Wii exclusive release and set to hit stores this October 23 in a big time event at the Nintendo World Store. You can check out the video by clicking on the read link below.

Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX2 - Image 1With Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution still a few weeks away from release, Eighting has busted out yet another Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen title, and this time the deadly Sasuke in all his timeskipped glory is playable.

This news comes from a Shonen Jump scan, pictured to the right of this article. Yet another reason to envy those lucky enough to live in Japan - you guys ALWAYS get the good stuff first!

Looking at the scan, there are more characters exclusive to the game that's available - most notably Sai, Yamato, Kabuto and Orochimaru. In keeping with its predecessors' visual style and gameplay, the cel-shaded look is still there, with the same four-player chaos that we've all come to know and love.

Here's hoping that D3Publisher also picks this one up for localization - after the anime catches up with Naruto Shippuuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX2, that is. Keep it locked right here for more news about Naruto's fearsome foursome game!

YouTube user FCSugarFree was lucky enough to attend the recent Anime Expo 2007. We say lucky because this particular enthusiast was able to see and play the upcoming title Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution. The video game is scheduled for release sometime in the third quarter of this year.

Anyway, we have here two video clips showing fight scenes between Gaara and Naruto himself, as well as another one featuring Naruto and Sasuke. Speaking of characters, Clash of Ninja Revolution will have a total of 14 playable characters and six different stages with two combat zones each.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution is being co-developed Tomy and Eighting. It will be published by D3 Publisher.
