PEGI - Image 1Pan European Game Information (PEGI) has found a new ally in Toine Manders, a member of the European Parliament's Committee. According to videogaming247, the politician has recommended that Europe should universally adopt PEGI's rating system.

LittleBigPlanetManufacturing-wise, LittleBigPlanet has gone gold a few months back (obviously it has, since you wouldn't have been able to play it yet if it hadn't). But this time around, achievement-wise, Media Molecule's title was awarded by the ELSPA for getting a Gold status - that means it's just a hop and a skip away to Platinum sales!

BBFC - Image 1The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is threatening to sue the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) for copying their current rating board for the classification of videogames. The new system proposed by the ELSPA is supposed to give parents a quick and easy reference on the appropriateness of a particular video game though a series of colored symbols.
