PlayStation Store - Image 1Big day today for aspiring LittleBigPlanet creators. There's a new free pack containing some creation tutorials on the US PlayStation Store. Should be useful for those who want to learn more about creating their own stages in LittleBigPlanet. The PSP version of the PlayStation Store still continues to be sparse, but at least there's a new downloadable game there in the form of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. A full list is available after the jump.

On Shelves This Week: June 29 to July 5, 2008 - Image 1So what's going to be in our videogaming menu starting this week? A whole lot of DS games once again, we tell you, though there's a few gems or two in the Nintendo handheld rough on Tuesday. There's a music rhythm game for almost every console out there, plus a couple new additions to the portfolio of PC games. Somehow we're also seeing another relaunching of Gears of War for the Xbox 360 the "Refresh" edition. We don't know why it's re-listed, but it is. The full list follows at the full story.

Whether you like video game-based movies or not, "Resident Evil: Extinction" is well on its way. September 21 is right around the corner, and we can expect aggressive marketing before the fated day comes. To promote the movie, Sony unleashed a hot BMW motorcycle at Comic-con.

Zombie Violence... rawr - Image 1

Because of the "Zombie Violence" tag, let's just call it that. The decals look sweet and all, the polish is perfect, and the whole thing looks like a beast, but we'd sell a dozen Ducati to the junkyard just to get a bike with Resident Evil on it. Watching the movie is an entirely different issue.

When manufacturer SanDisk decides to stamp the name of a racing bike family on one of their memory-storage products, we imagine they're implying speed. That appears to be the case with their new Ducati Edition USB Flash Drive (model SDCZX-004G), which the company clocked at a not-so-shabby 20 Mbps data read/write speed. Here are the rest of the features that SanDisk includes for the kit:
  • The Ducati flash drive - Image 1Available in 4GB configuration
  • Includes SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition lanyard for easy carrying, and recognition as an officially licensed Ducati product
  • Includes RescuePRO Deluxe Recovery Software CD
  • Comes with Lifetime Limited Warranty
  • Dedicated Technical Support hot line (US only): 1-866-744-0474
Unfortunately, much like the high-end speedsters it derives its name from, the Ducati Flash Drive is expected to come in at a hefty US$ 124.99 on retail (probably due to the name licensing). The product is available for purchase at SanDisk's official site (accesible via the read link below) and at selected retailers.
