If you're a digital entity and your company decides to strap you into a go-kart, chances are, you've made them so much money that they want you to ride them into a little more. Just like Hollywood celebs and their fancy rides, digital personas probably all hang out together, talk about their karts and drive them while drunk. Mario and Crash will be attending that party, so will the Madagascar crew, and joining that A-list crowd today is the ogre that changed fairy tales forever - Shrek.

They like to move-it, move-it, they like to move-it, move-it. Apparently, they like to move-it so much that they decided to get wheels. Now, the runaway zoo animals of the Dreamworks animated comedy, Madagascar, no longer have to run away on foot - they've got karts now. Introducing - Madagascar Kartz, a comical kart-racer based on the animated film.

You may have already heard that the upcoming Dreamworks movie, "Monsters vs. Aliens," will be getting a game tie-in and that Activision holds the publishing rights. Activision recently raised its forecasts for the fiscal year, raising its estimate by more than US$ 200 million which prompted Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter to give his own prediction.

Activision's fiscal 2008 Q2 report is in, and the results are very encouraging. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Sony PS3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PC) is bringing the house down as it earns over US$ 100 million in its first week to seal its reputation as one of gaming's most successful launches ever.
