Still not sold on Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC) even
with the new weapons, characters, maps and the Charger Infected on
board? This might make you change your mind, or at least be amenable
to changing your mind, so hopes Valve. Doug Lombardi has announced that
if you pre-order the sequel, you will be getting early access to the
Multiplayer demo. |

Just because Gabe Newell thinks that the PS3 is a waste of time, doesn't mean that Valve Corporation is closing doors on the console altogether. In fact, Valve's PR exec, Doug Lombardi, expressed that the company is "up on the idea" of developing for the PS3. Who cares what their managing director thinks? |

It was another frenzied week for the Xbox 360 blog, with beat-'em-up
fighters and persistent zombies taking the lead in news items. Yep, am
talking about Street Fighter IV and Left 4 Dead, parts 1 and 2. On the Industry side of things, Microsoft's been relatively quiet... Oh yeah, I hear they're being sued yet again. This time for patent infringement on the XBL. |

Finally. Some real gameplay footage of the highly controversial Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC). It runs for seven minutes in total, enough for you to prove a case if you've ever tried British Parliamentary form of debating. But before we see if these footage would prove sufficient to sway the otherwise strong sentiments of hardcore L4D1(Xbox 360 and PC) fans against it, let's hear from Doug Lombardi, who's been making his rounds the past couple of days, explaining a whole lot about this sequel. This time, he talks about crossover possibilities between the two games. |

Did any of you guys sign the Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360, PC) petition? You know, the one where the fans were asking to boycott the sequel of the zombie-killing game from Valve because they didn't want a sequel too soon to the first one? Well, it looks like despite the 37,000 strong members, it did not do that much dent to the campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 as pre-orders are even reportedly twice that of the original game's. At least that's what a Valve's Doug Lombardi is saying. |

For the nth time, boys and girls, Left 4 Dead is not - we repeat - NOT coming to the PlayStation 3. Different Valve folks have already quashed this rumor, but somehow, it just won't die. Like a persistent cockroach running around your kitchen floor. Squish away at the full article. |

Could Valve's Doug Lombardi have really made peace with Sony's PlayStation 3? If UK retailers GAME and Play.com's product listings are to be believed, it would seem yes. Seen in these sites are actual pages for Left 4 Dead ( Xbox 360, PC) - for the PlayStation 3. Could it be really coming out on the PS3 soon? |

Earlier today, a rumor broke out like wildfire that Valve, the ever-intrepid studio of FPS games, was going to be bought by Google "any minute now." Yes, Google. I was all "buh?" So I waited around a bit to see where that was going before I decided to share the news with you guys, and true enough, it really was just rumor. So if you hear that Google suddenly decided to become a video game magnate, approach it with skepticism. |
