Heavy Rain - Image 1A rubber ducky is not a weapon. Unless it is in context. I just don't know when a rubber ducky can ever be in context as a weapon.

The studio behind the psychological thriller Heavy Rain has revealed that objects in the game cannot be used as weapons unless it is within context. So I guess you can only wield Sir Rubber Quacky if you want to make your assailant go "awwww"?

Heavy Rain - Image 1Double-edged sword right here. Depending on how you like your games, this might come as a blessing or a bane: David Cage of Quantic Dream reveals that Heavy Rain takes about eight to twelve hours to complete in one run. I think that's a pretty sizeable amount of time, considering it's open-ended and all. Isn't that the point of replayability? Don't get me wrong though. Cage also promises that the game's still going to be a blast if you're only willing to spend time for a single run through.

Rain - Image 1Heavy Rain was Playboy's game of the show at E3 this year, and everyone who's laid eyes on it at Leipzig can't seem to stop talking about it. If you haven't seen the game's premiere trailer yet, you really ought to check it out.

Sitting down for a quick word with Eurogamer, Quantic Dream president, David Cage confirmed there's definitely going to be a demo and talked about the possibility of seeing downloadable additions to the game. Details after the jump!

David Cage - Image 1Sometimes people say things we don't get why they do. But that doesn't make it any less interesting now, does it? Say for example a statement that goes: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has got a structure similar to a porn movie's. A very curious statement, huh. There's more of that after the jump.
