Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair's wife, Cherie, and son, Nicky, are now getting raps for being directors of Magnitude Gaming, a firm that manages semi-professional teams looking to make a name in eSports. While it's well and good that they're lending their support to a growing industry, the fire is brewing from the fact that Magnitude Gaming has run a team that plays Counter-Strike.

There can be no doubt that some of the best gamers in the world are from South Korea. The WCG is a witness to what the Korean gaming force can do. Even outside the WCG, whether it's StarCraft, Warcraft, Counter-strike, and even Tekken, there's bound to be a Korean or two among the best. So now comes this Craiglist posting, where you get to learn StarCraft from a real Korean, and no not a fake one.

Sweet. All you guys wanting an update on CSPSP will surely be satisfied with this. It's not CSPSP itself, but a mod of the most recent version. And judging from the screens and changelog, it's definitely a keeper. PSP Paintball v6.2 from Immortal- takes CSPSP v1.6.1 from nataku92 and gives it quite an overhaul.

Calls for heavier video game restrictions are once again set ablaze following the German school shooting yesterday, where 17-year-old Tim Kretschmer opened fire in his former high school in Winnenden Germany, killing 16, and himself in addition shortly after. Kretschmer was believed to be a skilled Counter-Strike player, and now European reps in Strasbourg have voted for a resolution in order to prevent retailers from selling inappropriate games to minors.

Dev nataku92 has released another update to CSPSP, which makes it the second time this month. The Counter-Strike game for the PSP has received bug fixes and addresses some security issues. Details after the link.

Homebrew dev Nataku92 has rolled out a new version of CSPSP, the homebrew PSP game based on the ever-popular Counter-Strike. A lot of the freezing bugs in the previous releases have been fixed in this version. The Online Lobby has been given an overhaul as well.

Stealth Kill, the dev who brought us Counter-Strike for the PSP, has a new project in the works, and it's looking just as awesome. Called 2050: The Last Island, this game is in full 3D, and Stealth Kill describes it as GTA plus The Sims. Details after the link.

Game developer Starbreeze has detailed a few of the multiplayer game modes in Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). Aside from the usual deathmatch mode (Dark Athena's allows for up to 12 players), the game also features a couple of interesting new gameplay modes, including one called Pitch Black.
