PSP Paintball - Image 1Sweet. All you guys wanting an update on CSPSP will surely be satisfied with this. It's not CSPSP itself, but a mod of the most recent version. And judging from the screens and changelog, it's definitely a keeper. PSP Paintball v6.2 from Immortal- takes CSPSP v1.6.1 from nataku92 and gives it quite an overhaul.

Counter-Strike - Image 1Calls for heavier video game restrictions are once again set ablaze following the German school shooting yesterday, where 17-year-old Tim Kretschmer opened fire in his former high school in Winnenden Germany, killing 16, and himself in addition shortly after. Kretschmer was believed to be a skilled Counter-Strike player, and now European reps in Strasbourg have voted for a resolution in order to prevent retailers from selling inappropriate games to minors.

CSPSP v1.6 - Image 1Homebrew dev Nataku92 has rolled out a new version of CSPSP, the homebrew PSP game based on the ever-popular Counter-Strike. A lot of the freezing bugs in the previous releases have been fixed in this version. The Online Lobby has been given an overhaul as well.

Homebrew - 2050: The Last Island Demo - Image 1 Stealth Kill, the dev who brought us Counter-Strike for the PSP, has a new project in the works, and it's looking just as awesome. Called 2050: The Last Island, this game is in full 3D, and Stealth Kill describes it as GTA plus The Sims. Details after the link.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Image 1Game developer Starbreeze has detailed a few of the multiplayer game modes in Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). Aside from the usual deathmatch mode (Dark Athena's allows for up to 12 players), the game also features a couple of interesting new gameplay modes, including one called Pitch Black.
