Conan O'Brien - Image 1If you fancy some off-topic humor for some easy viewing over the weekend, here's something to tune into: Late Night with Conan O'Brien and their recent segment with Rock Band.

Turns out that the WGA strike had left them with a lot of free time on their hands... Which makes us think that, yeah, video games really are benefiting from the writers' strike.

Serena Williams - Image 1Well, you've probably seen the YouTube video of how Conan O'Brien pwned Serena Williams in tennis on Wii Sports. This is a bit of a follow-up on that, with a bit of a twist.

We've seen how some people can get carried away and lose grip of the Wiimotes, sending them flying. Now, Serena Williams - fresh from winning the Australian Open - was a good sport and played against Conan O'Brien on Wii Tennis.

After the game, however, the tennis star's people reportedly called O'Brien to inquire about a missing earring.

The said earring was borrowed and apparently cost US$ 75,000. Thus ensued a frantic search of the studio - with the staff checking the footage of the Wii game to check where the missing half went. In the end, they found that the earring fell into Williams' blouse pocket.

Whew.

A little light-hearted, off-topic stuff to get off the beaten path for today (you have been warned, so no whining about off-topics). Pat Cash and Mark Woodforde weren't the only tennis pros whacking tennis balls with a Wiimote. This time it's Serena Williams, going up against Conan O'Brien in Wii Sports Tennis. And that's because the Late Night set isn't big enough for a proper tennis court. The result: check this article's title. Enough said.

This is why we love O'Brien. YouTube cap by medieval33O25, for those whose bedtimes preclude being able to watch Conan O'Brien. Now, how about a little breakdancing practice?

If you can't get enough of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" when his show airs on NBC, you might be interested to know that some clips of the show are now available on the Marketplace. The available Conan O'Brien clips that are "If They Mated" Clips 1 to 3 which weigh in at 55.01MB, 81.29MB and 85.70MB.

If you have never seen Conan's "If They Mated," segments, we think that the best way to describe them is like this: he takes pictures of two celebrities that are dating at the time and shows what their kids would look like "If They Mated" which usually has some horrendous results. Hopefully this is a sign that more Conan content will become available. If you're in need of a laugh go ahead and check out the clips on the Marketplace.
